Weekly Update
We're Going Green! Dragon Green!
Yes, that's right. Ladera Elementary is going green. We hope to do our part in saving some trees! We are offering our weekly update online as a .pdf download. You may view it at any time. They will typically be available by late Sunday night, for the following week.

The only PAPER updates will go out the first week of the month, the other weeks of the month will be online ONLY.
We will have a few available in the office for those who do not have internet access, but we are hoping that the majority of families will download the .pdf update and help us GO GREEN!

PRINTING TIPS:
Many people have commented that they don't know how to print only one or two pages of the update. To print only selected pages of the update, open up the update, look at the top of your screen, within the Adobe Reader window. You'll see something similar to this, it shows which page you are viewing:
You'll see that I am viewing page 15 of 19. Now to go to File > Print. Your printer page will open up and look something like this, below. Even if it looks different, you'll still be able to choose which page(s) to print.
Choose Page 15. If you want pages 3, 14, and 15, enter it like this: 3,14,15 in that same box.
If you have an ink jet printer and want to save some color ink: Choose Settings >Properties. Every printer has different settings, but on that page you'll be able to select to print in black and white only. You can also choose draft mode, to use even less ink.
